Watch the unit: per photo, per product or per pose
Two quotes can show the same number and price different things. The lists we reviewed used three units:
- Per photo: one list charges TRY 300–400 per photo on a white or grey background, falling with volume.
- Per product (poses included): one list charges TRY 999 per product with 1–3 poses for 15–50 items and TRY 599 for 51–150 items.
- Per pose: one list charges TRY 450, 800, 1,100 and 1,400 for a ghost-mannequin T-shirt with 1, 2, 3 and 4 poses.
To compare, convert everything to “per product, with the number of poses I need, excluding VAT”.

Are AI-generated product images enough?
Some studios now offer AI variations for TRY 200–800 per image. They are quick and cheap, but have two limits. Trendyol rejects over-edited or artificial-looking images. And under a provision added to Turkey’s Commercial Advertising Regulation in July 2026, ads must clearly disclose AI use that significantly affects consumers’ buying decisions, and an AI-generated digital copy of a real person may not be shown using a product (mevzuat.gov.tr). For main product images, a real shoot is still the safest route.
How to shoot product photos yourself: 7 tips
- Light: soft window light or a single diffused light; direct flash causes shadows and glare.
- Background: a curved white card sweep leaves no corner line behind the product.
- Tripod: shooting every product from the same height and angle keeps the catalogue consistent.
- Fill: let the product fill most of the frame; Amazon asks for 85% in the main image.
- Colour: the product’s colour on screen must match reality; a grey card in the shot makes white balance easy to correct.
- Angles: front, side, back, detail and a usage shot that shows scale.
- File names: consistent names that include the product code save hours when uploading and updating.

Product shoots at BEF Agency
We shoot products, food and concepts in our own studio in Yıldıztepe, Bağcılar, or at the brand’s location, and cast model shoots from BEF Model. When planning a shoot we agree up front where the images will be used (website, Trendyol, Amazon, ads) and can prepare the exports to each channel’s specs.
