Social media management cost in Turkey (2026): monthly packages, what’s included and a sample quote

As of September 2026, social media management in Turkey costs roughly 8,600 to 80,000 Turkish lira a month (about €155 to €1,440), based on the packages agencies publish on their own websites. Packages focused on design and posting, without shoots, cost TRY 8,600–18,000 (€155–325). Packages with Reels and community management cost TRY 14,000–40,000 (€250–720). Full-service packages with monthly shoot days and ad management start at TRY 42,000 (€755) and go above TRY 80,000. The ad budget is never included, and most agencies that mention VAT quote their prices excluding it.

We didn’t estimate these figures. On 28 September 2026 we went through the monthly packages that 8 Turkish agencies publish on their own sites and noted, for each package, the number of platforms, the amount of content and whether shoots and ad management were included. Euro amounts use the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye rate of 25 September 2026 (€1 ≈ TRY 55.7).

Short answer: For a small business, a one-platform package without shoots costs TRY 8,600–18,000 a month; a package with video and DM management TRY 14,000–40,000; a full service with shoots and ad management starts at TRY 42,000. Put every quote on the same VAT basis before you compare.

What drives the price of social media management?

Two packages at the same price can contain very different work. In the packages we reviewed, seven things pushed the price up:

  1. Number of platforms: Instagram alone is one job; Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook together are another. Each platform needs its own formats and tone.
  2. Volume and share of video: six images a month and ten Reels a month are very different workloads. In the only price list that shows unit prices, an extra image costs TRY 1,400 and a short video TRY 4,500.
  3. Shoots: most of the gap between a stock-image package and one with monthly shoot days is production. Top-tier packages include 1–2 shoot days a month.
  4. Community management: how fast comments and DMs are answered changes the price. One list promises an 8-hour response in its basic package and 4 hours in the top one.
  5. Ad management: some packages include ad management up to a set spend; some agencies sell it as a separate TRY 15,000-a-month add-on.
  6. Reporting and strategy: one PDF a month and a weekly meeting are not the same job.
  7. Contract length: some agencies give 5–15% off for 3-, 6- and 12-month commitments; some ask for 12 months paid up front.

The content plan is the invisible part of the price: which idea goes out in which format, on which day.

Before you compare: the VAT trap

Of the lists we reviewed, one quoted prices including VAT, four excluding it and the rest didn’t say. The difference is 20%. A package of TRY 30,000 including VAT is TRY 25,000 excluding VAT. Put every quote on the same basis before comparing them; we suggest “monthly amount excluding VAT”.

What should a package include? A sample quote

A good quote lists the work line by line and leaves no room for surprises. Use this template to compare the quotes you receive. The quantities are examples.

Red flags in cheap packages

  • Stock images and ready-made templates: templates everyone uses make your brand look ordinary in the feed.
  • Posting without strategy: a calendar that can’t explain why something is posted is random posting.
  • Reports without numbers: a report made of screenshots doesn’t tell you what worked.
  • Account ownership: you should own your Instagram account, your Meta business portfolio and your ad account; the agency should only get access.
  • Long prepaid commitments: a package that wants 12 months up front locks you in even if the first three months don’t work.

Is the ad budget included?

No. Every agency we reviewed that addresses this keeps the ad budget outside the package price. The budget is paid to Meta, and taxes come on top: in 2026, Meta ads shown to people in Turkey carry a 5% location fee, and companies withhold 15% tax. We work out the real cost step by step in our guide to Instagram ads costs in Turkey.

How we price social media management at BEF Agency

Instead of fixed packages, we agree the scope in a first call and send a written, line-by-line quote: platforms, monthly content, shoot days, community management and ad management on separate lines. We shoot in our own studio in Yıldıztepe, Bağcılar, and cast from BEF Model when needed, so production doesn’t add an outside agency’s margin to the quote. On the 47 accounts whose social media we manage, organic engagement rose by an average of 38% in the first 90 days (Instagram and TikTok, January–March 2026). Frequently asked questions

How much does social media management cost per month in Turkey?

Packages published by Turkish agencies in September 2026 range from TRY 8,600 to TRY 80,000 a month (about €155 to €1,440). One-platform packages without shoots cost TRY 8,600–18,000, packages with video and DM management TRY 14,000–40,000, and packages with shoots and ad management TRY 42,000 and up.

Do the prices include VAT?

Mostly not. Most agencies that mention VAT quote prices excluding it, and 20% VAT is added on top. Always ask.

Are photo and video shoots included?

Not in entry packages. Mid-range packages sometimes include a half-day shoot; full-service packages usually include 1–2 shoot days a month. Ask whether equipment, lighting and models are included.

What is the minimum contract?

Published packages run for 3, 6 or 12 months, with discounts for longer terms. Three months is a sensible first trial; a contract with monthly cancellation protects you.

Is a freelancer cheaper than an agency?

On paper, yes. But when shoots, design, video editing and ad management come from different people, the total cost and the coordination can exceed an agency package. A freelancer works if regular posting on one platform is enough; an agency is more efficient once you also need video and ads.
